Terms of Service
Last updated: October 10, 2026
These terms apply when you create an account or buy a service from Helioplot ("we", "us"). Questions? Email info@helioplot.com.
1. What we provide
We prepare solar proposal designs (in Aurora Solar or Solargraf) and permit design sets for installers in the United States and Canada, based on the information and files you send us.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for the accuracy of the information you provide, including project details in the design brief.
3. Credits and plans
- One credit covers one site design: a proposal for one address, or one permit plan set for one address.
- Monthly plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. Credits reset with each billing cycle and unused credits do not roll over.
- Revisions to an active job are included. Major scope changes, such as a different system size or roof, may use a new credit.
- Prices are in US dollars. Applicable sales tax, GST or HST may be added at checkout.
4. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. You can update your card, download invoices or cancel from your dashboard using "Manage billing".
5. Your project files
You confirm you have the right to share the files and information you send us. We use them only to deliver your project and keep them confidential.
6. Deliverables and permits
We prepare designs to the requirements you tell us about, but we cannot control decisions made by local authorities or utilities and do not guarantee permit or interconnection approval. Where a licensed engineer's stamp is required in your jurisdiction, tell us when you submit the job.
7. Trademarks
Aurora Solar® and Solargraf® are trademarks of their respective owners. Helioplot is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.
8. Limits of liability
To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected project, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
